Rob Mangrelli, director in global real estate hedging and capital markets at Chatham Financial, agrees: “On one hand, yes, it would seem a lot easier administratively for LIBOR to continue. On the other, if LIBOR continues but is not well supported in the derivatives market with the hedging that might be required, then that will present its own issues.”
