Chatham Financial was named “Risk Management Advisory Firm of the Year” at the 2019 GlobalCapital Americas Derivatives Awards.
The awards recognize firms that innovate, grow and improve derivatives markets in the Americas. They are judged according to the nominees' innovations in product and service, commitments to new markets, improvements in efficiency, liquidity and market stability, as well as client guidance.
Chatham’s award was announced during a gala dinner at the Metropolitan Club in New York City. Amanda Breslin, executive director of treasury advisory, and Andrew Thornfeldt, managing director and head of real estate investment banking, accepted the award on behalf of Chatham.
Chatham Financial demonstrated a deep understanding of the Americas derivatives markets and, more importantly, a commitment to using that knowledge to help its clients.
“Chatham Financial demonstrated a deep understanding of the Americas derivatives markets and more importantly, a commitment to using that knowledge to help its clients, often in the mid-cap sector of North America, extract the full value and best pricing of derivatives contracts,” the GlobalCapital editors said in presenting the award. “This made it a deserving winner of the risk management advisor of the year award.”
In supporting its nomination, Chatham demonstrated its impact in driving efficiency, fostering a culture of innovation, and providing unparalleled advocacy and service to more than 2,500 clients in the real estate, corporate, private equity and financial institutions industries. Leveraging its scale, expertise and technology to provide actionable insights, Chatham enables a more transparent and advantageous marketplace for its clients. Additionally, Chatham helps shape derivatives markets by advocating for end-user concerns on a variety of committees and working groups.
